HP Forest Department Recruitment 2019
Himachal Pradesh Forest Department has sought applications for appointment to the posts of Forest Guard. Recruitment will be done for a total of 113 posts. These posts will be filled for different zones as per the contract. Interested and eligible candidates can register online for these posts. The last date for registration is 8 November 2019. Age limit: Minimum 18 and maximum 30 years as on 01 January 2019.
SC / ST and OBC candidates will be given five years relaxation in the maximum age.
With this, the candidates should have knowledge of the traditions, customs and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
Eligibility: Must have passed 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized institute or board.
Minimum physical criteria :--
Height: Male
165 cm
Chest 79 cm without inflating and 84 cm after inflating
Height: Female
150 cm
Scheduled Tribes candidates will be given a relaxation of five centimeters in length. With this, four centimeter relaxation will be given by inflating the chest and without inflating.

Race (male)
100 meters in 14 seconds
800 meters in 2 minutes 45 seconds
High jump : 1.25 m
Long jump : 04 m
Race (female)
100 meters in 17 seconds
800 meters in 4 minutes 15 seconds
High jump : 01 m
Long jump : 03 m
Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will be selected through the marks obtained in the written test and evaluation test.
