Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission today declared the final result for the recruitment of 03 posts { OBC(UR)=01 & SC(UR)=02} of Company Commander/Senior Instructor/Store Officer/Centre Commander, Post Code-857 (On contract basis) in the Department of Home Guards & Civil Defence, Himachal Pradesh against advertisement No. 36-3/2020 dated 21.09.2020.

In response to this advertisement, total 1538 applications were received out of which 1217 applications have been rejected due to non receipt of fee / other than advertised categories and 321 applications were admitted provisionally. 

All provisionally admitted 321 candidates were asked to submit documents related to essential qualifications, age and category, out of which 311 candidates failed to deposit the requisite documents and 10 candidates submitted the requisite documents.

After scrutinizing the documents, the candidature of 05 candidates has been rejected due to non fulfillment of essential qualification as per R&P Rules and 05 candidates found eligible and were called for direct evaluation process on dated on 01.02.2021 due to lesser number of applications viz-a-viz- number of posts.

Based upon the performance in essential academic/professional qualifications based criteria of 85 marks in lieu of written screening test and the marks obtained in evaluation process, the Commission has compiled the result of 03 posts and the candidate bearing following Roll Number has been declared successful. The marks secured by the candidates have also been shown against their roll numbers

While every care has been taken in preparing the result, possibility of inadvertent/ technical error cannot be ruled out. The Commission reserves the right to rectify the same later on.
